On behalf of Teach For America Metro Atlanta, we’re excited to announce that Dave Howland has become the next executive director of our region.
After a robust and thorough interview process, Dave’s extensive experience as an educator, high school principal, and leadership team member working with KIPP Metro Atlanta’s 11 schools stood out as exemplary. A 2004 TFA corps member in Atlanta, Dave has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to TFA’s mission. His nearly two decades in education serve as a powerful example of our theory of leadership in action. Under his leadership, we believe we will continue to further advance academic gains with students and grow our impact across the communities that we serve for years to come.
Dave officially joined staff on July 26, and he is eager to engage with you more closely. As he continues onboarding into his new role, we look forward to future opportunities to make personal introductions. In the meantime, please do not hesitate to reach out to Renee Archawski, our regional head of Development, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you so much for your support and partnership over the years — we remain inspired by your commitment to students. We look forward to working with you further to expand opportunity in our communities and achieve educational excellence and equity for all across Metro Atlanta.
