Our Mission
Prism Metro Atlanta is a coalition dedicated to empowering LGBTQ+ corps
members, alumni, staff, allies, and the greater community to create schools
that are inclusive and affirming of LGBTQ+ students and educators. To
accomplish this we develop leaders, build partnerships, and advocate for
LGBTQ+ inclusive and affirming policies.
Our Approach
We develop leaders who are committed to creating schools that are inclusive and affirming spaces for LGBTQ+ educators and students so that one day ALL children have access to an equitable education. We build partnerships with organizations in our community that holistically support LGBTQ+ students and educators. We advocate for inclusive and affirming policies that ensure all our students and educators are have a safe and affirming environment to learn, lead, grow and thrive.
