Flagging Communications from hello@tfaaaefg.org

We know some alumni and staff have received communications from hello@tfaaaefg.org over the last few weeks. This email is using our branding and appears at first glance to be affiliated with our organization, however, Teach For America does not have a formal partnership with Association of American Educators for Financial Growth, nor do we know anything about this organization or the origination of these emails and therefore do not endorse the content on this website. Our tech team has blocked the email address from sending to any staff email addresses, but do not have the ability or authority to block it from sending to people’s personal email addresses. We do not know the source of the email addresses that have been secured by the sender of these emails, but do not believe any of our TFA held alumni data or internal database systems have been breached in any way. Our legal team has reached out to the contact for the webpage and elevated our concerns. We do not believe the content is malicious in nature and appears to be spam attempting to attract traffic to the businesses linked in the site. We encourage all alumni and staff to do their own research before engaging with the available content.
